Brad Binder wins the 2020 Czech MotoGP

The South African rookie MotoGP racer, Brad Binder, made history Sunday, 9 August 2020, when he won the Czech Republic GP with more than 5 seconds to spare. Binder had been racing for the Red Bull KTM Team in Moto3 and Moto2 before entering MotoGP.

Binder’s victory

While Brad binder had been able to win the Moto3 World Championship back in 2016, this is his first MotoGP series win. This is a rare achievement given that his Czech GP win was only his third race in a MotoGP championship. It kinda makes you think back when Marc Márquez appeared as a rookie in 2013.
