Which motorcycle has the most torque?

The production motorcycle with the most torque is the Verge TS which has 737 ft-lb or 1000 Nm of torque. It outperforms the Triumph Rocket III which has only 163 ft-lb or 221 Nm of torque but still holds the crown of the gas-powered production motorcycle with the most torque.

Overview

In this article, we take a look at production motorcycles that have the most torque in 2020. This list might be valid today but it will most likely look different in 2021 and the years that come after.

We will look at the following lists:

  • Overall highest torque
  • Highest torque of electric-powered motorcycles
  • Highest torque of gas-powered motorcycles

Overall highest torque

The Verge TS has four times the torque of most of the motorcycles on this list making every other motorcycle seem like a toy. Surprisingly, the Triumph Rocket III is the only gas-powered motorcycle on this list.

Highest torque of electric-powered motorcycles

These are electric motorcycles that are in production with the most torque. It’s quite interesting to see that there are so many of them with figures like these.

Highest torque of gas-powered motorcycles

When you compare the Triumph Rocket III to other gas-powered motorcycles, it really does seem like it dominates them with a lot of torque to spare. And I always used to think that the V-Max was on top…

Final words

So 4/5 (four out of the five) motorcycles with the most torque are electric… This was quite interesting to compare. If you enjoyed this article and want to see more like this, you can subscribe to the monthly newsletter.
