On 18 November 2020, Ducati revealed their new version of the Panigale called the Ducati Panigale V4 SP. The SP version is said to cost around $37,000 and produce 214 horsepower from the 90° V4 Desmosedici Stradale engine.
New: Ducati Panigale V4 SP
Ducati’s new Panigale V4 SP is not a limited edition but each bike will have its own unique number on the steering clamp. There are a lot of goodies on this bike (which we will get to in the comparison), but most notable are the carbon fibre wheels and Öhlins suspension combined with Ducati Electronic Suspension (DES) EVO.
Ducati claims that the Panigale V4 SP is, “the ideal bike for the amateur who wants to hit the track and be fast immediately”. This is mostly because it’s much easier to ride than the Panigale V4 R (the top-of-the-line model after the Superleggera V4). Overall, the Panigale V4 SP is a very impressive looking bike.
Comparison
From the “usual” specs, you can’t really see much of a difference between the standard V4 and the V4 SP. The real difference is in the onboard technology and standard equipment.
