The average MotoGP rider weighs 67 kg or 147 lbs. The lightest MotoGP rider weighs 62 kg or 137 lbs, and the heaviest MotoGP rider weighs 80 kg or 176 lbs. Five out of the current twenty-four riders weigh 64 kg, or 141 lbs, which makes it the most common weight among MotoGP riders.


In this post, the current MotoGP riders are listed along with their weight in kilograms and imperial pounds. It should be noted that these figures only include MotoGP class riders and not Moto2 or Moto3 class riders. Regarding weight regulations, there are no weight restrictions on MotoGP class riders themselves, but the following regulations apply to their motorcycles:
